What's New with K9 Bytes?

We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season and have started 2011 on a good note! The beginning of the year was busy for us as well and this month's newsletter has all of the news on what is new with K9 Koordinator and here at K9 Bytes. For the past two months our programmers have been working diligently to address maintenance and stability issues to bring you a more efficient and comprehensive program for the coming year!

As always, we appreciate any feedback you might have and look forward to working with you to make a better K9 Koordinator.

Very Important Reminder!

Please remember to renew your K9 Bytes Maintenance Agreement Plan! Remember that the Maintenance Agreement includes unlimited email and phone support and any and all updates to the program. If you wish not to renew, it is important to let us know so we may provide you with the appropriate license.

The Maintenance Agreement was due by January 15th, 2011. Please take advantage of our reduced rates to renew your maintenance agreement on time. Renewal rates are US$150 for LITE, $295 for PRO and NET, and $595 for CORPORATE versions. If your maintenance agreement expires, click here to find rates to renew expired maintenance plans.

What's New in the K9 Koordinator?

We would like to include some of the improvements that have been included in the K9 Koordinator since our last newsletter. The current release of K9 Koordinator Cheetah is version 6.0.461. If you are running behind, you want to be running the latest version! Use the K9 Bytes Updater to automatically check for and download the latest K9 Koordinator. Click here for instructions on how to download and use the Updater. Here is a list of changes since our last newsletter:

Reports

1. Daycare preferred report now lists all pets within a family, including pets that have never visited before (Last Visit date is blank). The report is now grouped by the daycare group, and also the number of total daycare visits per pet is shown.

Financials

1. A tip line can be printed at check out, if using the K9 Koordinator tips feature is being used. This line allows you to print a preview receipt that will include the tip line. This tip line will allow the client to enter the desired tip so you can enter that into the current transaction. The tip line will disappear when a payment including the tip is processed. This feature is only available for those systems configured to use the new bill format (not old pre-Cheetah format).

2. Point of sale tax per item is now shown with 3 decimal digits of precision

Retail

1. Added feature to print all labels for all received items in a purchase order from the purchase order scree
